Reservations

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy depends on how far in advance of your scheduled arrival date you submit your request:

  • Cancellations More Than 30 Days Out: You will receive a full refund, minus a $19.00 cancellation processing fee.
  • Cancellations Within 30 Days of Arrival: You will forfeit 50% of your deposit. The remaining 50% will be issued as a camp credit valid for six (6) months toward a future stay.
What are the check-in and check-out times at Hickory Point RV Park?

Check-in begins at 1:00 PM, and check-out must be completed by 11:00 AM. Early check-ins or late check-outs must be pre-arranged with the front office.

What is the late arrival or after-hours check-in policy?

If you plan to arrive after our front office closes at 6:00 PM, please notify us in advance. We will leave your check-in packet in the red mailbox near the check-in office. Your packet will include your invoice, a map of the park, and our rules and regulations. Please sign the invoice and rules and bring them to the front office the next morning.

Do you have long-term sites available?

Yes, we offer monthly stays during specific times of the year. For more information, visit our Monthly Stay page.

RV Sites, Amenities, & Utilities

What types of RV site pads do you have?

Hickory Point RV Park features hard-surfaced RV site pads with a clean seashell overlay. Our pads are engineered to accommodate modern, full-size motorhomes and large RVs and provide a stable foundation with minimal impact on the local environment.

What utility hookups are provided at each RV site?

All sites at Hickory Point RV Park are full-hookup sites equipped with on-site water, electric (30/50 amp), and sewer connections.

Do you offer propane filling on site?

No, but removable tanks can be filled at Clearwater / Lake Tarpon KOA, less than 8 miles down the road. Stationary tanks can be taken to Camping World on U.S Hwy 19.

Can the park accommodate larger RVs?

Yes, Hickory Point RV Park is a big rig-friendly RV park and can accommodate lengths of up to 70 feet.

Is Wi-Fi available at the park, and what is the internet quality?

We offer complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the park that is suitable for streaming and remote work.

How do guests dispose of trash?

We provide curbside pickup daily at 10 AM. We also provide a centralized trash dumpster area located near the dog park for garbage disposal.

Is there a swimming pool at Hickory Point RV Park?

While an on-site pool is planned for a future expansion of our park, guests currently receive free access to the swimming pool at our nearby sister park. Simply stop by our front office to pick up complimentary wristband passes for the pool at the Clearwater / Lake Tarpon KOA, located less than 8 miles away. For natural swimming, most guests enjoy the convenient, short walk to Anclote Park, which features a beautiful sandy beach.

Do you have on-site laundry facilities?

Currently, on-site laundry facilities are not available at Hickory Point RV Park. However, guests are more than welcome to use the fully equipped laundry facilities located at our sister park, the Clearwater / Lake Tarpon KOA.

Are there dedicated community spaces?

Yes, our community spaces include a waterfront tiki hut, a community fire pit, and communal picnic seating.

Park Rules & Policies

Is Hickory Point RV Park pet friendly?

Yes, polite and well-behaved pets are welcome at Hickory Point RV Park. We accept two pets per site. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, all animals must be kept on a leash, kept quiet, and remain attended by their owners at all times.

Do you have breed restrictions?

Hickory Point RV Park does not have dog breed restrictions.

Do you allow Electric Vehicle (EV) charging on site?

No, Hickory Point RV Park does not permit electric vehicle (EV) charging at individual RV sites due to electricity infrastructure limits. There are several public EV charging stations located just outside nearby Tarpon Springs.

Can we use our BBQ grill on site?

Yes! Guests are encouraged to bring and use their own personal BBQ grills on site.

Are fireworks allowed at Hickory Point?

For the safety and comfort of everyone in the park, fireworks are not permitted within Hickory Point RV Park.

What are the park's quiet hours?

Quiet hours are observed daily from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please ensure televisions, radios, and outdoor conversations are kept at a minimum volume during these hours.

Is there an age or condition restriction for RVs entering the park (10-year rule)?

To maintain the aesthetic standards of the park, all recreational vehicles should be 10 years old or newer and in good visual condition. Rigs older than 10 years require pre-approval by management via photo submission.

Are tents, car camping, or alternative camping structures allowed on RV sites?

No, we only allow RV camping on RV sites.

How many vehicles are allowed per RV site, and is extra parking available?

Each site is allotted two vehicles as long as they fit on your site. Storage space is available for rent for overflow.

What is the policy for day visitors and guests?

Additional guests are welcome, but we ask that they stop by the office and get a parking tag for the duration of their visit. If their additional car cannot fit on site, we ask that they park in the overflow parking area.

Boat Slips & Trailer Storage

Does Hickory Point RV Park rent boat slips?

Yes, guests are welcome to rent our on-site boat slips for $39.00 per day, which includes complimentary trailer storage. Because slip spaces are limited, we recommend reserving your boat slip at the time of booking.

Do you offer on-site boat trailer storage?

Yes, standalone boat and boat trailer storage is available for $20.00 per day, but it is included for free if you rent a boat slip.

Local Area

Where is the closest place to go fishing?

Anglers can fish directly from our on-site docks, our seawall, and in some cases, right from their own waterfront RV sites. We recommend checking the local tide charts and starting early for the best fishing success.

How far is Hickory Point RV Park from the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks?

The historic Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks are a quick 10-minute drive from the park.

Are there restaurants close to the RV park?

Yes, there are several highly rated local restaurants located just minutes away, including one within walking distance:

  • Miss Vicki’s On The River: A well-loved, casual waterfront dining spot featuring live music most nights and stunning sunset views—just a scenic 10-minute walk from the park.
  • Capt’n Jack’s Waterfront Grill: A laid-back, tropical-themed waterside restaurant serving surf ‘n’ turf and drinks.
  • Dimitri’s on the Water: A dockside stop offering great indoor and outdoor dining, fresh seafood, and Greek spreads.
